Charles was once quoted as saying, "We don't take our pleasures seriously enough." Supporting the Foundation at whatever level you feel comfortable with, gives you an opportunity to take your pleasures seriously. Your contribution not only lets you visit and enjoy the Eames House, but it also helps maintain the Eames House for generations to come.
Through your generosity, the life and work, or more accurately, the way that Charles and Ray Eames looked at life and work, will be extended, celebrated, and, in the best of all possible worlds, provide inspiration for others.
A fun way to support the Foundation is to celebrate and remember Charles and Rays's unforgettable film, Powers of Ten, by joining through our Powers of Ten Program. You can Join at any level and 10 equal monthly payments will be billed to you.
Friend of the Foundation ($100). As a Friend of the Foundation, for one calendar year, you and one guest will enjoy one regularly scheduled Members only docent-led Exterior Tour* of the grounds of the Eames House + an Eames print of our choosing as a thank you for your support. Join online.
Supporter of the Foundation ($250) As a Supporter of the Foundation, for one calendar year, you and three guests will enjoy one regularly scheduled Members only docent-led Exterior Tour* of the grounds of the Eames House + receive a copy of the book, EAMES by Gloria Koenig, as a thank you for your support. Patron of the Foundation ($500) As a Patron of the Foundation, you and one guest will enjoy one Members only docent-led ground floor Interior House Tour + a copy of the Eames Films, Volume 2 DVD "house: after five years of living" as a thank you for your support. Spirited Sponsor of the Foundation ($5000) As a Spirited Sponsor of the Foundation, you and several guests** will enjoy one docent-led ground floor Interior House Tour + Exterior Tour + Studio Tour + an original artwork by Lucia Eames as a thank you for your support. Participating Sponsors and Benefactors of the Foundation Participating Sponsors generally begin at the $50,000 level. Gift Memberships Gift Memberships Feel free to GIFT an Eames fan with a Membership to the Foundation at any level. Although you are the thoughtful giver, Foundation Membership benefits would apply only to the person(s) receiving the Gift Membership.

Of course, Members at all levels may visit the grounds of the House free of charge for self-guided exterior tours Mondays through Fridays (with the exception of holidays) between the hours of 10:00 through 4:00 p.m. Appointments are necessary, 310.459.9663
Special privileges for Members at all levels include being the first to know about all special events held at the Eames House. In addition, all Foundation Members receive a 10% discount at the Eames Office Gallery and Store on all products with the exception of furniture, a free quarterly newsletter subscription and access to a Members Only website. And, all Members are invited to a special annual Members Only Appreciation Day, hosted by members of the Eames family on the Eames House grounds.
With the exception of celebrated holidays, holiday weekends, and special events, the grounds of the Eames House are usually available for self-guided exterior tours Mondays through Fridays between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. and Saturdays between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
ADMISSION FEE. As of November 1, 2004, there is a suggested contribution/donation of $5.00 per person for exterior self-guided tours for non-Foundation members. Admission is free to students with valid IDs, seniors (62+), and children under 12.
Join us, too, in celebrating the spirit of Charles and Ray, once a year on the day of their anniversary, June 20th, when the ground floor of the Eames House will be open for a walk through between the hours of noon and six p.m. Reservations will be required for that day.
