Eames Residential Architecture

Exhibition Date: June 20—December 31, 2026

Eames Residential Architecture is a curated selection of material adapted from the exhibition The Eames Houses, first shown at the Triennale di Milano during Design Week 2026. The exhibition offered the first comprehensive overview of Charles and Ray Eames’s domestic architecture, an integral part of their broader design philosophy.

Developed through multi-year research and featuring a number of unrealized projects, the selection includes rare archival drawings, documents, photographs, and renderings that explore the enduring relevance of Charles and Ray’s radical thinking on prefabrication, modular construction, and human-scaled living.

Eames Residential Architecture debuted in the Eames House Studio with the US release of the book The Eames Houses, edited by Eckart Maise with forwards by Norman Foster and Eames Demetrios. You can buy your copy during your visit to the Eames House or by clicking below.

Eames Residential Architecture is presented in collaboration with the Eames Office and Kettal, official manufacturer of the Eames Pavilion System (https://www.eamespavilions.com/).
