We are deeply grateful for the outpouring of concern and support for Case Study House 8 – the historic Eames House built in 1949 – during the devastating fires that have taken over Los Angeles this week. While it remains at risk, as of January 10th, the Eames House is currently unharmed by the wildfires in the Pacific Palisades.
The loss and displacement caused by the fires is staggering, and our thoughts are with everyone affected during this unprecedented time. Our hearts go out to the many who have lost loved ones, homes and livelihoods.
